Thank you for being part of the MindBolt community. We provide a safe and focused writing environment for primary school children aged 7 to 12. We know how much you care about protecting your family's personal information, and we take your privacy and your child's safety very seriously.
This Privacy Policy describes how MindBolt ("MindBolt", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information through our website at www.mindbolt.sg, the MindBolt application, and any related online services (collectively, our "Services").
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

We do not purchase or receive personal information about you from third-party data brokers or advertising networks. Payment information is handled by our third-party payment processor and is subject to their privacy practices.

We do not use your child's writing content for any purpose other than providing the Services. We do not display advertising within the Services and do not use personal information for targeted advertising.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your child's information to any third party. We may share information only in the following limited circumstances:

MindBolt is designed for children aged 7 to 12, with all accounts created and managed by a parent or guardian. We take the following measures to protect children's privacy:
All MindBolt accounts must be created by an Adult (parent or legal guardian). Children do not create their own accounts. The parent or guardian is responsible for all account activity and for ensuring their child uses the Services appropriately.
We collect only the minimum information necessary for a child to use the Services. We do not ask children to provide their full name, school, address, phone number, or any other identifying personal information. The only child-related data we hold is their grade level and the writing content they submit during sessions.
Writing submitted by your child is processed in real time to generate feedback. We retain writing session data only as long as necessary to provide the Services and for reasonable technical support purposes. We do not publish, display, or share your child's writing with other users.
We do not display any advertising within the Services. We do not allow third-party advertising networks to collect information from children through our platform.
As the account holder, you have full access to and control over your child's account at any time. You may review, correct, or request deletion of your child's information by contacting us at mindbolt.sg@gmail.com.
Our AI writing buddy Fiz is programmed with child safety guidelines. If a child submits content that raises concern (such as references to self-harm or distressing situations), Fiz is designed to gently redirect the child to speak to a trusted adult. We encourage parents to maintain open conversations with their children about their writing sessions.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and secure third-party service providers.
However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of information transmitted over the internet. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain it by law (for example, for tax or audit purposes). Writing session content may be retained in anonymised form for platform improvement purposes.
